| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá regionálními disparitami a vývojem vzdělanostní struktury obyvatel ve vybraných krajích České republiky. Hlavním cílem je určit, zda a jak vzdělanostní struktura obyvatel ovlivňuje konkurenceschopnost regionů. Důraz je kladen na vývoj vzdělanostní struktury a indikátorů konkurenceschopnosti v období 2001 až 2010. Pro zjištění vazby mezi vzdělanostní strukturou obyvatelstva a konkurenceschopností regionů je proveden výpočet koeficientu korelace, který potvrdil vliv zvýšení podílu osob se středoškolským vzděláním s maturitou zaměstnaných v národním hospodářství na pokles nezaměstnanosti, avšak nepotvrdil vliv zvýšení podílu osob se středoškolským vzděláním s maturitou a vyšším, kteří jsou zaměstnáni v národním hospodářství, na růst průměrného tempa růstu hrubého domácího produktu. |

| Abstract: | The thesis focuses on regional disparities and changes in the educational structure of the population in selected regions of the Czech Republic. The main objective of the thesis is to determine whether and how the educational structure affects the regional competitiveness. The growth of GDP, unemployment and the changes in the education structure from 2001 to 2010 are the main aspects of the thesis. The correlation coefficient has been calculated in order to support the relation between the educational structure of population and the economical competitiveness of regions. The correlation coefficient confirmed that the decrease of unemployment rate depends on the educational structure of population and rejected that the rise of GDP depends on the educational structure of the population. |
