| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce na téma Sčítání lidu v České republice -- historie, význam a budoucnost má za úkol zhodnotit a zkompletovat dostupné informace týkající se účelu a historie sčítání lidu. Význam sčítání lidu není jen demografický a statistický, jak by se mohlo na první pohled zdát. Získaná data lze využít v mnoha dalších oblastech, například politice, ekonomice, sociální oblasti, oblasti zdravotnictví a vzdělání a v několika dalších. Nastínění možného vývoje sčítání nelze posoudit, pokud nejsou známy některé historické okolnosti vzniku a fungování metod a postupů použitých při sběru a zpracování dat. Proto je k odhadu budoucnosti potřeba znát alespoň částečně minulost. Tato minulost je v práci velice podrobně popsána, zobrazeny jsou změny, kterými sčítání od období středověku až po současnost prošlo. Možný vývoj podoby sčítání se bude odvíjet od několika aspektů a v současné době nelze jednoznačně říci, jak bude následující sčítání v České republice vypadat. Návrhy a doporučení ovšem existují. Způsobů sčítání, které by mohly být v budoucnosti použity, je hned několik. V úvahu přicházejí registry, výběrová šetření nebo ponechání stávající kombinace celoplošného sčítání a dat z administrativních zdrojů. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis Census in the Czech Republic - history, importance and the future is to assess and complete available information for the purpose and history of the census. The importance of the census is not just a demographic and statistical, as it might seem at first glance. The data obtained from the census can be used in many other areas, such as politics, economics, social, health and education, and others. The outline possible developments in the census cannot be assessed unless there are known some of the historical circumstances of creation and operation of certain methods and procedures. Therefore, to conversing about the future it is necessary to know at least part of the past. The past is described in detail in the work, there are showing the changes that in the middle ages to the present day has passed. Possible development of the census will depend on several aspects and it is currently not clearly say how the next census will look in the Czech Republic. However, suggestions and recommendations exist. There are a few methods of census methods which can be used in the future. Registers, sample surveys or a combination of nation-wide census and data from administrative sources can be considered. |
