| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá majetkovou ochranou spotřebitelů na finančním trhu. Ochraně spotřebitelů je v Evropské unii věnována velká pozornost a vlivem finanční krize byly podniknuty kroky k jejímu zlepšení. V práci je proto věnována značná pozornost vývoji evropských právních předpisů, které danou problematiku vymezují. Podrobněji se práce v jednotlivých kapitolách zaměřuje na systém pojištění vkladů a systém pro odškodnění investorů. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována fungování garančních schémat v České republice. Jsou zde analyzovány kauzy, které musel Fond pojištění vkladů a Garanční fond obchodníků s cennými papíry během své existence řešit a způsoby financování výplat odškodnění oprávněným osobám. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis is dealing with a consumer property protection on the financial market. The consumer protection in the European Union has a huge attention; the measures for the improvement were taken under the influence of the financial crisis. The thesis focuses on the development of the European legal regulations, which determinates the problems. The single chapters of the thesis aim particularly on Deposit Guarantee Schemes and Investor Compensation Schemes. A special attention is dedicated to a function of Guarantee Schemes in the Czech Republic. The cases, which the Deposit Insurance Fund and the Securities Dealers Guarantee Fund had to deal with, were analyzes. As well as the methods of funding of compensation payments to eligible persons were analyzed. |
