| Abstract: | Tématem této práce je jeden z nejvíce zmiňovaných pojmů současného IT světa nazvaný Cloud computing. Cloud computing je model využívání IT prostřednictvím poskytování služeb. Práce má dvě části. V první části práce jsou na základě dostupných zdrojů shrnuty teore-tické základy Cloud computingu. Druhá část práce je založena na provedeném dotazníko-vém šetření napříč společnostmi působícími na českém trhu. Cílem první části práce je poskytnout teoretický základ související s pojmem Cloud com-puting. Druhá část práce se soustředí na vyhodnocení míry adopce SaaS služeb ve společ-nostech působících na českém trhu. Zároveň je cílem zjištění překážek, které brání většímu rozšíření těchto služeb a jejich vliv na míru rozšíření. |

| Abstract: | Theme of this work is one of the most mentioned notions in present IT world called Cloud computing. Cloud computing is a model of using IT through services. This work has two parts. In first part of this work are summarized theoretically bases of Cloud computing based on available sources. The second part is based on questionnare survey which was done across companies operating on Czech market. This survey was done especially for this work. The goal of first part is to provide theoretical base associated with the concept of cloud computing. The second part focuses on evaluation of the rate of adoption SaaS services in companies operating on the Czech market. At the same time aim of the second part is iden-tify barriers that prevent futher expansion of these services and their impact on penetration. |
