| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je zhodnotit toleranci a intoleranci vůči Mormonům v USA, především pak zamyšlení nad původem těchto postojů a srovnáním stavu dnes a v době vznikání jejich církve. Teoretická část nejprve vysvětluje pojem tolerance a následně se zabývá její potřebou a historií. V části zaměřené na USA vychází z jejich dějin náboženství a na základě statistických údajů popisuje specifika Mormonů a postoje, které vyvolávají. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to evaluate tolerance and intolerance towards Mormons in the USA, consider the origins of these attitudes and compare its state now and in the time of foundation of this church. Theoretical part explains the notion of tolerance and the analytical describes the specifics of Mormons and the attitudes toward them based on statistics. |
