| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je vyhodnocení finančního zdraví podniku Danone, a.s. za uplynulé období 2006 -- 2010. Práce je zaměřena na ucelenou finanční analýzu a objektivní posouzení jejích výstupů v rámci mezipodnikového a meziodvětvového srovnání a následné definování silných a slabých stránek, příležitostí a hrozeb v rámci stručné SWOT analýzy. Práce se skládá ze dvou logických celků. Teoretická část popisuje podstatu a principy finanční analýzy. Klíčovým bodem této části je metodický aparát s vysvětlením veškerých postupů pro výpočet ukazatelů finanční analýzy, spolu s definováním principu SWOT analýzy. V praktické části jsou aplikovány veškeré metody vymezené v části teoretické. V závěru na základě získaných informací, poznatků a výstupů dojde k celkovému zhodnocení finanční výkonnosti podniku a poskytnutí určitých doporučení. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this Bachelor's thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the company Danone, a.s. within the previous period 2006 - 2010. The work is focused on comprehensive financial analysis and objective evaluation of its outputs in the comparison with the industry and relevant competitors and defining the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in a brief SWOT analysis. The work consists of two logical parts. The theoretical part describes the substance and principles of financial analysis. The key point of this part is the methodical apparatus used for explanation of all the procedures along with defining the principle of SWOT analysis. All methods and financial indicators defined in the theoretical part are applied in the practical part. In conclusion, based on obtained information, knowledge and outputs, there is summarization of the overall evaluation of the financial performance and provision of specific recommendations. |
