| Abstract: | Práce se zaměřuje na rozbor právní úpravy ochrany spotřebitele v aktuálně platném českém právu. Současně s ohledem na nově přijatý občanský zákoník poukazuje na změny, které nastanou v ochraně spotřebitele účinností tohoto zákona. Dále pak porovnává, jak tento nový občanský zákoník zapracovává směrnice Evropské unie týkající se této problematiky, především novou směrnici Evropské unie o právech spotřebitelů - směrnici 2011/83/EU, která byla EU přijata ke konci roku 2011 a kterou musí naše republika jako členský stát EU začlenit do svého právního řádu. |

| Abstract: | The work primarily focuses on the analysis of consumer protection legislation in the currently valid Czech law. It also addresses changes in the area of consumer protection which will occur with forcing of newly approved Civil Code. Furthermore, the thesis compares the new Czech Civil Code with the related European Directive, specifically the new European directive on consumer rights - Directive 2011/83/EU, which was adopted by the EU at the end of the year 2011 and our Czech Republic as an EU Member State must incorporated it into its legal system. |
