| Abstract: | Síla dokumentární tvorby tkví v její schopnosti reflektovat realitu a informovat diváky o skutečných událostech nebo lidech a jejich životních příbězích. Tato práce se věnuje začlenění dokumentárního filmu do kontextu filmových festivalů v České republice v posledních přibližně 20 letech na příkladu MFDF Jihlava a Jeden svět. Teoretická část je zaměřena na etické otázky, politickou, sociální a lidskoprávní tematiku dokumentární tvorby, stejně tak na vytvoření sítě filmových festivalů a jejich vývoj. Praktická část přináší pohled na dramaturgii zmíněných festivalů dokumenárních filmů a poskytuje jejich srovnání v rámci tematického zaměření či dramaturgie. |

| Abstract: | Power of the documentary production consists in its ability of reflecting the reality and informing the audience about the actual events or people and their real life stories. This thesis in dedicated to embody the documentary film to the context of film festivals in the Czech Republic in the last 20 years using MFDF Jihlava and Jeden svět as examples. The theoretical part is focused on the ethical questions, next on political, social and human-right themes, as well as on producing a network of film festivals and their development. The practical part is concerned with the dramaturgy of the festivals and with the comparison of the thematic specialization or dramaturgy. |
