| Abstract: | Vlivem demografického vývoje ubývá počet uchazečů o studium na středních odborných učilištích, ale nedochází pouze k úbytku na již zmíněném typu škol, dochází i ke změnám preferencí a přesunu poptávky směrem ke gymnáziím, neboť studenti a jejich rodiče se zaměřují na studium vysoké školy, které považují v současné době za nutnost. Tím dochází k odlivu studentů ze středních odborných učilišť a někteří studenti se pod vlivem rodičů hlásí na vysoké školy, jejichž zaměření není jejich první volbou, jen aby získaly titul. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda změny způsobené demografickým vývojem a změnami myšlení společnosti ovlivňují kvalitu studentů středních a vysokých škol. Použitými metodami jsou deskriptivní analýza, dotazníkové šetření a prozkoumání již vypracovaných analýz, jejich vyhodnocení a konfrontace se závěry. Závěr práce shrnuje výsledky analýzy, kriticky hodnotí omezení metod a dává doporučení do budoucna. |

| Abstract: | Number of applicants not only for secondary apprentice schools but also is decreasing due to demographic development. Things that are changing are also the preferences and shift of demand towards grammar schools as the students and their parents try to concentrate on university studies which they considers as a necessity nowadays. This is the cause for outflow of students from the secondary apprentice schools without A-levels and some parents make their children apply for university just to earn a degree which the young would not chose as their first option. The target of this work is to find out if the changes in demographic development and the changes in human thinking really influence the quality of students at both secondary and tertiary educational institutions. The methods that have been used in this work are descriptive analysis, questionnaires and detailed inspection of previously published analyses, their results and confrontation with the conclusions. The conclusion of this work summarises results of the analysis, evaluates the limits of the methods used and states the recommendations to the future. |
