| Abstract: | Předmětem předkládané práce je vztah mezi měnovou politikou prováděnou v režimu cílování inflace, cenami aktiv na finančních trzích a finanční stabilitou v širším smyslu s cílem identifikovat klíčové problémy současného přístupu a vyvodit z nich určité závěry o tom, kterým směrem by se mělo cílování inflace dále ubírat. Flexibilní cílování inflace zůstalo i po krizi nejlepším dostupným režimem měnové politiky, navzdory tomu bude muset v souvislosti s posledními událostmi projít (a již prochází) určitou revizí. Ukázalo se, že změny ve finančním sektoru mají mnohem větší dopad na ekonomickou aktivitu, než jak se dříve předpokládalo, a v novém přístupu bude třeba je zohlednit. |

| Abstract: | The subject of the presented thesis is the relationship between monetary policy executed within inflation targeting, asset prices and financial stability in the broader sense in order to identify key problems of the current approach and draw some conclusions on how inflation targeting could possibly further evolve. Flexible inflation targeting remained the best available monetary policy framework, despite some revisions are apparently needed. It turned out, that changes in the financial sector have much greater impact on economic activity, than previously thought, and which the new approach will need to take into account. |
