| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se věnuje rizikovému (venture) kapitálu jako alternativnímu zdroji financování především malých a středních, inovačně zaměřených podniků. Snahou první části práce je poskytnout přehled o systému investic rizikového kapitálu. Kromě teoretického uvedení do problematiky je dále důraz kladen na analýzu českého trhu rizikového kapitálu. Vzhledem k členství České republiky v EU je český trh zasazen do širšího kontextu celoevropského trhu rizikového kapitálu a jeho regulace. V závěrečné části jsou identifikovány překážky, které brání rozvoji tohoto trhu v České republice, a následně jsou uvedena opatření na zlepšení současného stavu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis deals with risk (venture) capital as an alternative source of funding mainly for small and medium-sized innovation-oriented enterprises. The aim of the first part is to provide an overview of the venture capital investment system. In addition to the theoretical introduction, the emphasis is on the analysis of the Czech venture capital market. Due to the membership of the Czech Republic in the EU, the Czech market is put in broader context of pan-European venture capital market and its regulation. In the final section, obstacles are identified that hinder the development of this market in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the measures are introduced that could remedy the current situation. |
