| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je analýza vlivu BMI na výši mzdy mužů a žen v České republice. Některé předchozí práce zabývající se tímto tématem se shodují na tom, že zde existuje negativní korelace mezi rostoucím BMI a mzdou žen, u mužů nikoliv. Testovanou hypotézou tohoto výzkumu je, že zvýší-li se BMI u žen, povede to k poklesu jejich mezd. Druhou testovanou hypotézou je, že zvýší- li se BMI u mužů, nepovede to k poklesu jejich mzdy. Použitím regresní analýzy a metody nejmenších čtverců je odhaleno, že zde není žádný statisticky významný vliv BMI na výši mzdy lidí v České republice. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze the relationship between BMI and wages against women and men in the Czech republic. Some previous researches, which are focused on this topic agree, that there exist negative correlation between growing BMI and wages of women, but men neither. Tested hypothesis of this research is that, if BMI of women grows, it leads to decline in their wages. Second tested hypothesis is, if BMI of men grows, it doesn't lead to decline in their wages. Using regression analysis and ordinary least squares method, it is revealed, that there is no statistically significant effect of BMI on wages against people in the Czech republic. |
