| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá realizací urbánní politiky v České republice. Vychází od samotné definice města, jeho role v teoriích regionálního rozvoje a nastiňuje procesy, které významně ovlivňují charakter měst a tím samotnou realizaci urbánní politiky. V praktické části je provedena komparační analýza podpory rozvoje a regenerace měst v regionech soudržnosti Severozápad a Moravskoslezsko podle stanovených ukazatelů. V závěru práce jsou mezi těmito dvěma regiony soudržnosti s vysokou mírou urbanizace shrnuty nejvýznamnější rozdíly. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the implementation of urban policy in the Czech Republic. It goes from the very definition of a city/town, its part in the theories of regional development and it also outlines the processes which influence the urban character and the very implementation of urban policy. The practical part contains the comparative analysis of support for urban development and regeneration in cohesion regions Severozápad and Moravskoslezsko. The most significant differences between those two regions with the high urbanization rate are summed up in the conclusion of the work. |
