| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je prokázat prospěšnost Východního partnerství navzdory problematické politické a ekonomické situaci ve většině partnerských států, a to bližším nahlédnutím na bilaterální a regionální ekonomickou spolupráci mezi EU a partnerskými státy a zvýrazněním hlavních direktiv a potenciálu prováděných projektů v oblasti hospodářské integrace a konvergence s politikami EU. V první kapitole vyjasním původ této iniciativy, její tematické platformy a hlavní cíle v bilaterální a multilaterální dimenzi. První kapitola uvede rovněž do profilů partnerských zemí a tímto nastíní mezinárodní kontext, ve kterém je umístěn tento projekt. Druhá kapitola nabízí bližší náhled na praktické fungování VP. Začlení v podstatě dvě podkapitoly odpovídající bilaterální a regionální kooperaci. Třetí kapitola představuje všeobecný přehled implementace Východního partnerství vzhledem k dosaženým výsledkům i k existujícím výzvám a zároveň uvádí řadu úprav, které by umožnily uskutečnění VP na úrovni svého potenciálu. |

| Abstract: | The purpose of this paper is to prove the progress of the Eastern Partnership despite the unsettled economic and political situation in most of participating countries by means of a closer look at the bilateral and multilateral economic cooperation between EU and the partners and by emphasizing the main guidelines and potential of the implemented projects in the sphere of economic integration and convergence with EU policies. The first chapter introduces the Eastern initiative by explaining its premises, thematic platforms and the main purposes of the bilateral and multilateral track. It also introduces the profile of the partner states, depicting therefore the international context of the Partnership. The second chapter offers a detailed look at the fundamental level of the Eastern Partnership. It embodies two sub-chapters corresponding with the bilateral and multilateral track. The third chapter represents a general view of the project implementation in connection with existing challenges and offers a set of recommendations which would increase the EaP's performance. |
