| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na analýzu vývoje platební bilance Velké Británie v letech 2000-2011. První kapitola teoreticky vymezuje platební bilanci, objasňuje, jak platební bilance funguje a jakým způsobem je sestavována. Vymezuje hlavní účty a charakterizuje nejdůležitější salda platební bilance využívané k posuzování vnější ekonomické rovnováhy země. Druhá kapitola této práce charakterizuje vývoj jednotlivých účtů platební bilance Velké Británie a zároveň analyzuje příčiny tohoto vývoje. Třetí kapitola se zaměřuje na posouzení vnější ekonomické rovnováhy Velké Británie prostřednictvím jednotlivých sald platební bilance, zahraniční zadluženosti a investiční pozice. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the balance of payments of the United Kingdom in the years 2000-2011. The first chapter provides a theoretical view of the balance of payments, explains how the balance of payments works and how it is prepared. It defines the main accounts and characterizes the most important balances of balance of payments used to assess the external economic balance. The second chapter describes the development of the balance of payments accounts and also analyzes causes of this development. The third chapter focuses on assessment of the external economic balance of the United Kingdom through balances of the balance of payments, foreign debt and investment position. |
