| Abstract: | Cílem této bakalářské práce je charakterizovat WTO jako mezinárodní organizaci s důrazem na existující mechanismus řešení obchodních sporů. První a druhá kapitola představuje obecnou část, kde je popsána organizace WTO a mechanismus řešení obchodních sporů v rámci této organizace. Závěr druhé kapitoly je věnován výsledkům současného mechanismu řešení sporů a otázce, zda je tento mechanismus důvěryhodný. Třetí kapitola obsahuje případovou studii s analýzou sporu amerického Boeingu a evropského Airbusu. Část této kapitoly směřuje k zodpovězení otázky, zda tento spor ovlivnil hospodářské výsledky obou firem. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize the WTO as an international organization with emphasis on the existing dispute settlement mechanism. The first and second chapter presents a general part where WTO and dispute settlement mechanism within the organization are described. The end of the second chapter is dedicated to the results of the current dispute settlement mechanism and the question whether this mechanism is trustworthy. The third chapter includes a case study on analysis of a dispute between American Boeing and European Airbus. Part of this chapter aims to answer the question whether the dispute affected economic results of both companies. |
