| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá pracovní dobou a dobou odpočinku v podmínkách české právní úpravy, která je ovlivněna komunitárním právem Evropské unie, jejíž je Česká republika členem. Tato problematika je velmi aktuálním tématem, a to především v důsledku rozsáhlé novelizace zákoníku práce s účinností k 1. 1. 2012. Cílem této práce je poskytnutí uceleného přehledu právní úpravy pracovní doby a doby odpočinku zachycujícího jak její vývoj, tak i její současnou podobu. Zároveň nebude opomenuta ani komparace dané tématiky v šesti zemích, jež jsou rovněž členskými státy EU. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor's thesis is focused on working time and rest period under Czech legislation conditions that is influenced by Community law of European Union, which is the Czech Republic a part of. The subject of the thesis is a current issue, especially due to the extensive amendment to the Labour Code, which came into effect on 1. 1. 2012. The object of this thesis is to provide a comprehensive overview of legal provisions concerning working time and rest period showing it's development and the current form of legal provisions. Additionally the comparison of the issue in six EU member states is not forgotten. |
