| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá systémem financování a řízení vysokých škol v České republice a ve Velké Británii. V první části je charakterizováno vysokoškolské vzdělávání v České republice a ve Velké Británií. Druhá část se věnuje rozdílům ve financování českých vysokých škol a také struktuře příjmů britských vysokoškolských institucí. Poslední část práce se zabývá financováním vybraných vysokých škol a jejich strukturou řízení. Je zde provedeno srovnání zdrojů příjmů a hodnocení vybraných vysokých škol pomocí mezinárodních žebříčků a poměrových ukazatelů. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis presents the system of financing and management of higher education institutions in the Czech Republic and Great Britain. The first part describes higher education in both countries. The second part shows the differences in funding of Czech universities and also the revenue structure of British higher education institutions. The last part explains the structure of financing and governance of selected universities. Selected universities are compared using revenue sources, university rankings and indicators. |
