| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá postavením Indie v regionální a světové ekonomice a jejími budoucími výhledy. První kapitole charakterizuje Indii z historického, geografického, demografického a politického hlediska. Druhá kapitola je věnována ekonomické charakteristice Indie, a to jak struktuře indické ekonomiky, tak jejím základním makroekonomickým ukazatelům. Poslední část práce shrnuje pozitivní a negativní stránky Indie a nastiňuje vývoj Indie v budoucnu, které vyplývají jak z predikcí IMF a Světové banky, tak z vyhodnocení předchozí analýzy. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is dedicated to the position of India in the regional and world economy and to its future expectations. The fist chapter characterises India from the historical, geografical, demografical and political point of view. The second chapter is dedicated to the economic characteristics of India; to its structure as well as to its basic macroeconomic indicators. The last chapter summarises India's positive and negative features and points out future development of India, which is resulting from the predictions of IMF and World Bank and the evaluation of the previous analysis. |
