| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá udržitelným rozvojem cestovního ruchu v Plzeňském kraji. Cílem je zhodnotit současný stav cestovního ruchu a jeho udržitelný rozvoj v Plzeňském kraji. Teoretická část definuje základní pojmy vztahující se k problematice udržitelného rozvoje a udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu. Dále se zaměřuje na roli některých mezinárodních a národních institucí v této oblasti. V praktické části je provedena charakteristika sledovaného území s důrazem na předpoklady pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu a jeho udržitelnost. Následuje zhodnocení udržitelného cestovního ruchu podle vybraných indikátorů. Na závěr je provedeno celkové zhodnocení a navržena některá opatření k podpoře udržitelného rozvoje cestovního ruchu. |

| Abstract: | This thesis is concerned with sustainable development of tourism in the Pilsen region. The aim is to assess the current status of tourism and its sustainable development in the Pilsen region. The theoretical part defines the basic terms related to the issue of sustainable development and sustainable development of tourism. Besides it focuses on the role of some international and national institutions in this field. In the practical part the monitored area is described with an emphasis on the conditions for the development of tourism and its sustainability. Then the assessment of sustainable tourism by selected indicators is made. Finally the overall evaluation is reported and some measures to promote sustainable tourism development are suggested. |
