| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá masakrem v Srebrenici, který se odehrál během války v Jugoslávii a bylo při něm zavražděno více než 8000 muslimů. V teoretické části práce je definována genocida. Dále se práce věnuje historickému vývoji Bosny a Hercegoviny a specifikům tohoto území, jimiž jsou etnicita a náboženství. Pozornost je věnována i válce v Jugoslávii, která ke genocidě v Srebrenici vedla. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis focuses on the massacre in Srebrenica which took place during the war in Yugoslavia and in which more than 8000 bosnian muslims were killed. The genocide itself is defined in the theoretical part of the thesis. Further the thesis focuses on the historical development of Bosnia and Hercegovina and on the particularities of this area which are ethnicity and religion. Attention is given to the war in Yugoslavia which led to the Genocide in Srebrenica. |
