| Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je provést strategickou analýzu společnosti Škoda Transportation, a.s. Strategická analýza bude provedena za období 2010 - 2014 a získané výsledky budou porovnány s konkurencí a odvětvím. Práce je standardně členěna do čtyř částí, kdy v úvodu jsou stanoveny základní informace o řešeném problému a důvody pro její zpracování. Následující teoretická část představuje základní nástroje a postupy strategické a finanční analýzy, jež jsou v praktické části aplikovány. V závěru práce je uveden souhrn zjištěných poznatků. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to perform a strategic analysis of the company Škoda Transportation, a.s. Strategic analysis will be carried out for the period 2010 - 2014 and the obtained results will be compared with the competition and the industry. The thesis is divided into four parts: introduction, theoretical part, analytical part and summary. The reasons, why the topic has been chosen and basic information about the problem, are mentioned in the introduction. Theoretical part contains methods and techniques which are then used in the analytical part. The last part summarizes results obtained in the analytical part. |
