| Abstract: | Cílem práce je zhodnocení sektoru mikrofinancí v Ruské federaci prostřednictvím jeho porovnání s daným sektorem v Indii. Pomoci metody komparace práce analyzuje příčiny a perspektivy rozvoje mikrofinancí v obou zemích a identifikuje současné trendy a hlavní problémy, kterým sektor čelí. První část práce je věnována teoretickým východiskům: definuje základní definice, aktéry a historický kontext vzniku sektoru dle průkopníka mikrofinancí, bangladéšského ekonoma Muhammada Yunuse. Druhá část seznamuje čtenáře s hlavními reáliemi mikrofinancování v Indii včetně aktérů, modelů poskytování mikrofinančních služeb a hlavních problémů, jimž dané odvětví čelí. Třetí část je případovou studií, která objasňuje stav mikrofinancí v Rusku, a to především pomocí komparace sektorů mikrofinancování v obou zkoumaných státech. |

| Abstract: | The main goal of this paper is to evaluate microfinance sector in the Russian Federation through its comparison with the sector in India. Using the comparison method the paper analyses causes and prospects of microfinance development in both countries and identifies current trends and key challenges the sector is facing. The first part of the paper provides theoretical background: it defines basic definitions, actors and historical context of the sector's origins according to the founder of microfinance - Bangladeshi economist Muhammad Yunus. The second part is devoted to the major realities of microfinance in India, including actors, models of microfinance delivery and key challenges the industry is dealing with. The third part is a case study, which illustrates the state of microfinance in Russia primarily by means of final comparison. |
