| Abstract: | Práce je zaměřena na zkoumání důsledků politické transformace na vnitřně-bezpečnostní a ekonomickou situaci v Nigérii. Cílem je důsledné zpracování přechodu k demokratickému režimu na přelomu tisíciletí a jeho následný vliv na konflikty v Nigérii. Jak se k těmto konfliktům nově nastolená vláda postavila a jak se s nimi zvládla (či nezvládla) vypořádat a jak to ovlivnilo ekonomickou situaci celého státu a vztahy s nejbližšími sousedy. |

| Abstract: | Bachelor thesis is focused on exploring the consequences of political transition to internal-security and economic situation in Nigeria. The aim is to consistently process the transition to a democracy at the turn of the millennium and its subsequent effect on the conflicts in Nigeria. How these conflicts faced up newly established government and how they could (or couldn´t) manage to deal with and how it affected the economic situation in the country and relations with its closest neighbours. |
