| Abstract: | Cílem této práce bylo analyzovat nabídku Švýcarska jako destinace zimního cestovního ruchu a následně srovnat tuto destinaci s ostatními alpskými zeměmi, například na základě dalších kritérií jako jsou návštěvnost, počet středisek či cenová hladina. Analýza se zaměřuje na zjištění, z jakého důvodu turisté Švýcarsko navštěvují či nenavštěvují, případně proč dávají přednost konkurenčním destinacím.
Srovnání zemí bylo provedeno na základě statistik konkrétních států, dále byl proveden výzkum, v rámci kterého respondenti vyjadřovali své preference, co se alpských zemí týče a závěrem byla provedena SWOT analýza Švýcarska jako destinace zimního cestovního ruchu. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this thesis is to analyze winter tourism supply of Switzerland and subsequently compare this destination with other Alpine countries, e.g. on the basis of number of visitors, ski resorts or price level. The analysis focuses on finding out why or why not tourists visit Switzerland, alternatively why they prefer other Alpine countries.
The comparison of countries was made on the basis of individual statistics of each country. Additionally, research was conducted within which respondents expressed their preferences regarding Alpine countries. The final part of this thesis presents a SWOT analysis of Switzerland as winter tourism destination. |
