| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá Organizací spojených národů jako aktérem mezinárodních vztahů v oblasti Blízkého a Středního Východu, konkrétně v Afghánistánu, Iráku a Sýrii, kde probíhají konflikty a občanské války již od 90. let. Jedná se především o analýzu a hodnocení jejího chování při řešení konfliktů na základě rezolucí vydaných RB OSN ve zmíněných státech v porovnání s teoretickým postupem dle Charty OSN. Kritérii hodnocení jsou předcházení konfliktu, řešení konfliktu, obnova a udržování mezinárodního míru a budování míru. Cílem práce je tedy zjistit, jakým způsobem OSN v konfliktech postupovala a jak se jí podařilo naplnit teoretické východisko. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the United Nations as an actor of international relations in the Middle East, namely in Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, where conflicts have been taking place since the 1990s. This is mainly the analysis and evaluation of its behavior in conflict resolution on the basis of resolutions issued by the United Nations Security Council in comparison with the theoretical process according to the UN Charter. Criteria for evaluation include conflict prevention, conflict resolution, reconstruction and maintenance of international peace and peace building. The aim of this thesis is to find out how the UN proceeded in conflict and how it managed to fulfill the theoretical basis. |
