| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce pod názvem Welfare state v České republice a Velké Británii se zabývá porovnáním přístupů obou zemí k sociálnímu státu a porovnáním vybraných ukazatelů. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na popis sociálního státu a porovnání historického vývoje na území obou států a také na strategii Evropa 2020, která má pomoci s problémy, ve kterých se současný sociální stát nachází. V praktické části pak jsou pak porovnány rozdíly mezi oběma zeměmi. Konkrétně se jedná o porovnání ukazatelů ekonomické výkonnosti, minimální mzdy, nezaměstnanosti a chudoby. V závěru práce jsou navržena doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení situace sociálního státu. |

| Abstract: | The bachelors thesis under the name of Welfare State in the Czech Republic and Great Britain is dealing with a comparison of attitudes of both countries towards the idea of Welfare State and comparison of chosen indicators. Theoretical part of the thesis is focused on description of the Welfare State and its historical development on the teritory of both states and also on strategy Europe 2020 which is supposed to help with problems that current welfare state encounters. Practical part consists of comparison of differences between both countries. Especially comparison of indicators regarding economic growth, minimum wage, unemployment and poverty. At the end of the thesis are recommendations which could help with the state of current welfare state. |
