| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem textilního průmyslu v Náchodě v letech 1880-1914. Jejím cílem bylo popsat daný vývoj a potvrdit hypotézu, že textilní průmysl byl hlavní hybnou silou industrializace a modernizace regionu. Teoretická část práce je věnována vybraným ekonomickým teoriím druhé poloviny 19. století a také charakteristice možností podnikání v českých zemích na přelomu 19. a 20. století. Analytická část práce nejprve pojednává o komplexním vývoji textilního průmyslu v Náchodě v letech 1880-1914 a následně popisuje vývoj textilní výroby na konkrétním příkladu podnikatelského rodu Bartoňů. Práce odpovídá na otázky: jak probíhal v Náchodě přechod k tovární výrobě, jakou měrou se textilní průmysl podílel na rozvoji města, jakou roli hrálo v životě města dělnictvo a jaký vývoj byl zaznamenán v oblasti textilního průmyslu na počátku 20. století. Výsledkem práce je naplnění stanoveného cíle a potvrzení hypotézy. |

| Abstract: | The Bachelor thesis deals with the development of the textile industry in Nachod in the years 1880-1914. The aim of the study was to describe this development of the textile industry and confirm the hypothesis, that the textile industry was the main driving force of industrialization and modernization of the region. The theoretical part introduces late 19th century economics theories and it also outlines the business opportunities in the Czech lands at the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The analytical part of the thesis describes the development of the textile industry in Nachod in the years 1880 1914 as well as it focuses on the business of Barton family. The thesis gives answers to following questions: how did the transition to a factory production go in Nachod, to what extend was the textile industry involved in the growth of the town, what position in a day-to-day life of the town did the working class occupy and what development was registered in the textile industry at the beginning of the 20th century. The result of the study is confirmation of the hypothesis. |
