| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá formulací pojmu vzdělanost, zkoumá vývoj vzdělanosti v čase mezi roky 1998 až 2012 v kontextu mezinárodních výzkumů dovedností dospělých (SIALS a PIAAC). Součástí práce je analýza závislosti míry nezaměstnanosti skupiny absolventů bez maturitního vysvědčení na počtu absolventů vysokých škol. Dále tato diplomová práce přináší řadu doporučení ke zkvalitnění vzdělávacího systému České republiky ve směru vyšší vzdělanosti jeho účastníků a také lepší uplatnitelnosti českých absolventů středních škol na trhu práce. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis deals with the formulation of the concept of education, examines the development of education in the time between the years 1998-2012 in the context of international research on adult skills (PIAAC and SIALS). The work includes analysis of the dependence of unemployment of graduates without school-leaving certificate (maturita) on the number of university graduates. Furthermore, this thesis provides a number of recommendations to improve the educational system of the Czech Republic in the direction of higher education of its participants and better employability of secondary school graduates on the Czech labor market. |
