| Abstract: | Stavební spořitelny vždy vykazovaly stabilní výkonnost, ale situace se může změnit s ohledem na nové bankovní trendy. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá současnými problémy sektoru stavebních spořitelen v ČR a možnostmi jejich budoucího vývoje. Analýza ukázala, že současná ekonomická situace na bankovním a finančním trhu nepříznivě ovlivnila jak sektor stavebních spořitelen, tak i bankovní sektor jako celek. Období nízkých hypotečních sazeb, a zároveň snížení státní podpory zapříčinily pokles zájmu klientů o úvěry ze stavebního spoření. Jedním z faktoru, který výrazně ovlivní budoucnost sektoru stavebního spoření je existence statní podpory a její výše. Provedená analýza historického vývoje stavebních spořitelen jako celku vedla k závěru, že postupné snižování státní podpory následovalo zhoršení finanční pozice jednotlivých stavebních spořitelen, o čemž svědčí dlouhodobý pokles ukazatele rentability vlastního kapitálu, který, podle mé predikce, ke konci roku 2020 poklesne na hodnotu 7,8 %. |

| Abstract: | Building societies always show stable performance, but the situation can change because of new banking trends. This bachelor thesis deals with current problems of the building society sector in the Czech Republic and possibilities of future development. The analysis has shown that the current economic situation in the banking and financial markets has affected disadvantageously both the building society sector and the banking sector as a whole. Period of low mortgage rates together with reducing state aid have caused a decline in clients' interest in construction loans. One of the factors that greatly affects the future of the sector savings is the existence of state aid and its amount. Performed analysis of the historical development of building societies as a whole led to the conclusion that a gradual reduction in state aid resulted in the worsening of financial position of each building society, as evidenced by the decline in long-term indicators of return on equity, which, according to my predictions, by the end of 2020, will make up 7.8 %. |
