| Abstract: | Následující práce se zabývá problematikou územní integrity Čínské lidové republiky. Práce je rozdělena na tři hlavní části. První část analyzuje historický koncept vývoje čínského přístupu k otázce územní integrity. Ve druhé části je tato otázka rozebrána z pohledu mezinárodního práva a jeho dvou nejdůležitějších principů: principu územní celistvosti na jedné straně a
práva národů na sebeurčení na straně druhé. Hlavní součástí je analýza současného přístupu Čínské lidové republiky k otázce územní integrity a k některým problematickým územím. Třetí část tvoří případová studie zaměřená na Zvláštní autonomní oblast Hongkong. Součástí této kapitoly je historický kontext vývoje a analýza současné situace v této oblasti. Konkrétně se jedná především o politický systém Hongkongu, míru autonomie vůči čínské ústřední vládě a celkový vztah Pekingu a Hongkongu. |

| Abstract: | Following thesis deals with the territorial integrity of Peoples Republic of China. The work is divided into three main parts. The first one analyzes the historical concept of development of Chinese approach to the issue of territorial integrity. In the second part,the issue is discussed from the perspective of international law and its two main principles: the principle of territorial integrity on the one hand and the right of nations to self-determination on the other. The main part is an analysis of the current approach of the People's Republic of China to the issue of territorial integrity and to some problematic regions. Last part is a case study aimed at Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the Peoples Republic of China. This chapter contains the
historical context of the development of Hong Kong and the analysis of the current situation in this area. It primarily analyzes its political system, the degree of autonomy towards Chinese central government and overall relationship between Beijing and Hong Kong. |
