| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá komparativní analýzou konkurenceschopností zemí EU, konkrétně Velké Británie
a Spolkové republiky Německo. Práce je rozdělena na čtyři části. První z těchto částí se zaměřuje na vymezení pojmu konkurenceschopnosti a metodám jejího měření. Druhá a třetí část se zabývají hodnocením vybraných států tvrdými indikátory a jejich globálním umístění v rámci multikriteriálních žebříčků. Poslední část se zaměřuje
na vzájemné porovnání konkurenceschopností Velké Británie
a Německa. |

| Abstract: | The diploma thesis focuses on comparative analysis of the EU countries, specifically of the United Kingdom and the Federal Republic of Germany. The paper is divided into four parts. The initial chapter is aimed at specification of the term competitiveness and the methods of measuring the competitiveness. The second and the third part focus on evaluation of chosen countries by using hard indicators and their placement in multicriterial rankings. The last chapter focuses on comparison between the competitiveness of United Kingdom and Germany |
