| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou nového transatlantického partnerství mezi Evropskou unií a Spojenými státy. Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) usiluje o odstranění tarifních a netarifních překážek a vytváření zóny volného obchodu. Cílem práce je prozkoumat možný dopad na ekonomiky Evropské unie a Spojených států po přijetí dohody. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na obecné charakteristiky dosavadního vývoje transatlantických vztahů a současné ekonomické postavení obou stran ve světě. Aplikační část za použití průzkumu, jež byl vypracován pro Evropskou Komisi, se pokusí o analýzu dopadu na evropské exporty do Spojených států v odvětví automobilového průmyslu. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor's thesis will examine the issues behind the aims and impacts of the Transatlantic Trade and Investments Partnership (TTIP) between the United States of America (USA) and the twenty eight member states of the European Union (EU). The main aim of the partnership is to remove tariff and non-tariff barriers in order to create a free trade zone. The objective of this thesis is to scrutinize the possible impact on the economies of both parties involved. The theoretical part of the work includes an overview of existing transatlantic relations and contemporary economic positions of the two respective blocs. The application case study focuses on the automotive industry of European Union and the potential effects on european exports to the United States. |
