| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá technickou analýzou trhu s ropou. Cílem práce je otestování opening range breakout strategie na minulých datech a vyhodnocení výsledků z testování. V první sekci teoretické části je představena aktuální situace na trhu s ropou a faktory ovlivňující cenu ropy. Druhá sekce je věnována základům a předpokladům technické analýzy. V úvodu praktické části je popsaná opening range breakout strategie, která je následně otestovaná na futures s ropou na denních dateh |

| Abstract: | The Master´s thesis concerns itself with technical analysis of crude oil market. The aim of the Master´s thesis is to test opening range breakout strategy on past data and to evaluate results from testing. Current situation on the crude oil market and factors influencing price of crude oil are presented in the first section of the theoretical part. The second section focuses on basics and premises of technical analysis. Opening range breakout strategy is described in the introduction of the practical part which is then tested on crude oil futures on daily data. |
