| Abstract: | Tato práce se zabývá současným postavením žen ve vedoucích pozicích. Teoretická část je zaměřena na osobnostní předpoklady žen pro výkon manažerské funkce a na bariéry, předsudky a stereotypy, které znesnadňují ženám kariérní růst. Praktická část je věnována výzkumu, jehož úkolem je zjistit, zda ženy disponují schopnostmi vhodnými pro řízení podniku, a co brání jejich budování kariéry. Z výsledků vyplývá, že ženy mají sice předpoklady vhodné pro výkon vedoucí funkce, ovšem jejich profesní růst, jim stále stěžují zažité předsudky a tradiční stereotypy ve společnosti. |

| Abstract: | This work is addressing the current status of women in leadership positions. The theoretical part is focused on the personality requirements for women at the top management positions and the barriers, prejudices and stereotypes that make it difficult for women to pursue their career growth. The practical part is devoted to a research which is to determine whether women possess the skills suitable for company management, and what prevents their career growth. The results show that although women possess the skills suitable for carrying out executive functions, their professional growth is still aggravated by ingrained prejudices and traditional stereotypes in society. |
