| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá aplikací nástroje Value Stream Mapping v podniku vyrábějícím plastové výrobky.
Cílem diplomové práce je aplikovat nástroj Value Stream Mapping a následně i jiné metodiky štíhlého řízení za účelem navrhování řešení pro zlepšení výrobních procesů
pro vybrané výrobky. Teoretická část pojednává o vzniku a historickém vývoji štíhlé výroby, a o metodách, bez nichž by nemohla existovat, jako jsou systém tahu, systém kanban, heijunka, SMED a jidoka. Následně autor popisuje samotný nástroj Value Sream Mapping, jehož implementace vyžaduje důsledné dodržování čtyř kroků. Druhá část práce se zaměřuje na samotnou implementaci nástroje ve výrobním podniku, kde se tento nástroj aplikuje na výrobní procesy dvou výrobků. Během použití nástroje ve výrobních procesech byla nalezená místa, která by potřebovala zlepšení. V závěru práce je uveden souhrn doporučených vylepšení a jejich přínos pro podnik. |

| Abstract: | This thesis looks at application of Value Stream Mapping tool at plastic parts manufacturer.
The goal of the thesis is to apply Value Stream Mapping tool and subsequently other tools of lean management to propose improvement solutions for manufacturing processes of the selected products. In the
theoretical part are discussed origins and historical development of lean manufacturing, and its integral methodologies without which LEAN could not exist such as pull system, kanban system, heijunka, SMED and jidoka. Further author describes Value Stream Mapping tool itself which implementation required strict adherence to the four steps. The second part focuses on implementing the tool in a manufacturing company, where the tool has been applied to the production processes of the two products. During implementation were found places at manufacturing processes that needed improvement. The conclusion summarizes the recommended improvements and their contribution to the company. |
