| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na vývoj přímých zahraničních investic (PZI) ve Vietnamu a zabývá se jejími dopady na vietnamskou ekonomiku. Práce se skládá ze tří kapitol. První kapitola vymezuje definice PZI a teoretická vysvětlení PZI. Také stručně popisuje celosvětový vývoj přílivu PZI za posledních 15 let, následují důvody realizace PZI. Druhá část zkoumá dopady PZI na ekonomiku hostitelské země. Třetí kapitola se soustředí na analýzu stavu a vývoje PZI ve Vietnamu, také na jejich odvětvovou a teritoriální strukturu a příliv podle regionu. Zvláštní pozornost je pak věnována vlivům PZI na platební bilanci, zaměstnanost, export a import Vietnamu. Na závěr krátce zmíníme o silných a slabých stránkách Vietnamu z hlediska přilákání PZI. |

| Abstract: | The bachelor thesis is focused on the recent trends of FDI in Vietnam and it discusses the impacts of FDI inflows on the Vietnamese economy. The thesis consists of 3 parts. The first part defines the definition of FDI and the FDI theories. This part also briefly describes global FDI inflows over last 15 years, followed by the motives underlying FDI decision. The second part examines the impacts of FDI on the economy of the host country. The third part concerns the analysis of state and trends of FDI in Vietnam, also the FDI inflows by industry sector, FDI flows by country of origin and FDI inflows by region. Special attention is devoted to the effects of FDI on the balance of payments, employment, export and import of Vietnam. At the end we mention the advantages and disadvantages of Vietnam in terms of attracting FDI. |
