Abstract: | Cílem diplomové práce je proniknou hlouběji do problematiky revenue managementu, který představuje podnikovou filozofii, manažerský přístup usilující o maximalizaci zisku prodejem správného produktu správnému zákazníkovi ve správném čase za správnou cenu přes správný distribuční kanál. Dále tato práce analyzuje znalost a využívání revenue managementu v hotelech v Praze, se zaměřením na tří, čtyř a pětihvězdičkové hotely. První část práce se věnuje teoretickému vymezení revenue managementu, předpokladům pro jeho zavedení, úspěšnému procesu implementace v podniku a technikami revenue managementu. Ve druhé části je již přistoupeno k interpretaci výsledků průzkumu o povědomí a míře využití tohoto nástroje mezi pražskými hotely. Na závěr je představeno praktické využití jednotlivých technik revenue managementu na vybraném hotelu. |

Abstract: | The aim of this master thesis is to penetrate deeper the issues of revenue management which represents corporate philosophy, management approach seeking to maximize profits by selling the right product to the right customer at the right time for the right price through the right distribution channel. Furthermore, this thesis analyzes the knowledge and use of revenue management in hotels in Prague, focusing on three, four and five-star hotels. The first part deals with the theoretical definition of revenue management, the preconditions for its implementation, a successful implementation process in the enterprise and revenue management techniques. The second part has proceeded to interpret the results of a survey of awareness and the extent of using this tool among Prague hotels. In conclusion, it presents the practical use of revenue management techniques at the selected hotel. |
