| Abstract: | Redukce výroby a užívání narkotik je relativně mladé, avšak globální téma. Denně jsou do obchodu s drogami zapojovány tisíce lidí po celém světě a každý rok se objevují nové, ještě více nebezpečné látky. Výroba, distribuce a konzumace narkotik výrazně ovlivňují mezinárodní vztahy, protože jsou doprovázeny korupcí a kriminalitou. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá především účinností všech opatření, jež byla použita v tzv. válce s drogami, a zvláštní pozornost je věnována roli, kterou zde sehrála a stále ještě sehrává Organizace spojených národů, respektive Úřad OSN pro drogy a kriminalitu. Zemí vybranou pro toto pozorování se stala Kolumbie. S rozsáhlou produkcí kokainu se potýká už déle jak dekádu, což se výrazně promítá i do jejích vztahů s ostatními státy. |

| Abstract: | The reduction of production and abuse of narcotics are relatively new, but global issue. There are thousands of people all over the world involved in the drug business every day and every year new and more dangerous substances are produced. Production, distribution and use of drugs affect international relations because they are connected with corruption and criminality. This bachelor thesis deals with the effectiveness of all the interventions, that were used in so-called war on drugs and special attention is being paid to the role of the United Nations, especially to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. Country chosen for this observation is Colombia that has been fighting with an enormous cocaine production more than one decade and the influence on relations with other countries is very apparent. |
