| Abstract: | Cílem bakalářské práce je analýza regionálních diferenciací se zaměřením na země Visegrádské skupiny a jejich regiony. První kapitola je věnována teoretickému úvodu do této problematiky a seznámení se základními pojmy, které s tímto tématem souvisejí. Ve druhé kapitole je provedeno srovnání regionů Visegrádské skupiny na základě vybraných kritérií (demografická, vzdělanostní, zdravotnická, aj.). Hlavní, tedy nosnou částí, je třetí kapitola, která rozebírá dvě makroekonomická kritéria (hrubý domácí produkt a nezaměstnanost), jak v kontextu Visegrádské skupiny, tak v kontextu Evropské unie. Bakalářská práce dokazuje, že nově přistoupivší členské státy si v mnohých sledovaných oblastech vedou lépe, než některé původní členské státy Evropské unie. Významnou část bakalářské práce tvoří také obrazové přílohy, které názorně ilustrují regionální nerovnosti. |

| Abstract: | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the regional differentiations with focus on Visegrad Group countries and their regions. The first chapter is dedicated to the theoretical introduction into this issue and acquainting with basic terms that are related to this topic. The second chapter includes the comparison of Visegrad Group regions on the basis of selected criteria (demographic, education, health and others). The main part is the third chapter, which analyses two macroeconomic criteria (gross domestic product and unemployment) in the context of the Visegrad Group as well as of the European Union. The bachelor thesis proves that newly joined member states are doing in many fields better than some of the original EU states. The significant part of the bachelor thesis comprises also pictorial appendices that illustrate regional inequalities. |
