| Abstract: | Práce se věnuje porovnání vnímání (image) značky Mercedes-Benz s identitou na českém trhu. Dělí se na část praktickou a teoretickou. V teoretické části je uvedena a objasněna řada pojmů a definic vztahujících se ke značce, její image a identitě. Zvolená metodologie je v podobě analýzy dat databáze MML-TGI a vlastního dotazníkové průzkumu. Praktická část mapuje skutečnou image značky Mercedes-Benz a porovnává ji s žádoucí image. |

| Abstract: | The thesis is dedicated to comparison of the image of Mercedes-Benz to the identity which the brand has on the Czech market. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part introduces and explains some terms and definitions related to the brand, its image and identity. The chosen methodology has a form of data analysis of the MML-TGI database and author´s own questionnaire survey. The practical part describes the true image of Mercedes-Benz and compares it to the desired image of the brand. |
