| Abstract: | The diploma thesis "Financial analysis of InterContinental Hotels Group" is aimed to describe the financial health of the InterContinental hotel chain and mainly it is focused on the two different points of view -- investor's and bank's. The thesis consists of two main parts -- theoretical and practical. Theoretical part includes theoretical aspects regarding the financial analysis and gives the framework for the implementation of methodology. Company's financial performance and health is analyzed from the point of view of two most important stakeholders -- investor and bank. The research is made based on the financial data found in the company's annual reports as well as data of its competitors and industry benchmarks. |

| Abstract: | Diplomová práce "Finanční analýza InterContinental Hotels Group" je zaměřena na popis finančního zdraví hotelového řetězce InterContinental. Práce je vypracována ze dvou různých úhlů pohledu - z pohledu investora a z pohledu banky. Diplomová práce obsahuje dvě části - teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje teoretické aspekty vztahující se k finanční analýze a udává strukturu pro implementaci metodologie. Finanční výkonnost a zdraví podniku je analyzováno z pohledu dvou nejdůležitějších zainteresovaných subjektů - investora a banky. Výzkum je proveden na základě finančních dat, které byly nalezeny ve výročních zprávách podniku a také na základě dat konkurentů a průmyslových ukazatelů. |
