Competitiveness of Belarus in world markets

This master thesis introduces the new approach to the measurement of Belarus'competitiveness. The topicality of this research is connected with absence of Belarus in the studies of the World Economic Forum and Institute for the Management Development. The author established the following goals while running the research: to analyze the existing concepts of national competitiveness, to define the essential factors of competitiveness, to examine such tool for measurement of national competitiveness as composite indices, to measure and forecast the future value of national competitiveness for Belarus with the available data, to apply 9-factor Double Diamond-based model to Belarus's situation and measure its competitiveness relatively to the countries-competitors. The main research outcome is the identified Belarus ' relative competitiveness and its key factors.
