| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá osobností a tvorbou písničkáře Karla Kryla a jejím cílem je pomocí vybraných písňových textů zjistit, zda a jak Karel Kryl ovlivňoval československou společnost. Nejprve je popsána metodologie se specifikou použitých pramenů a literatury a interpretační klíč použitý pro rozbor textů. První část se dále zabývá fenoménem českého folku od padesátých do osmdesátých let dvacátého století. V druhé části je nastíněn historický kontext tvorby Karla Kryla. Popsány jsou události pražského jara, sametové revoluce a vývoji v devadesátých letech, normalizační období není v práci zohledněno. Třetí část je věnována rozborům textů, kterými Kryl reagoval na okupaci, počátky normalizace a vývoj po roce 1989. Texty jsou analyzovány chronologicky dle interpretačního klíče zvoleného v první kapitole. Poslední kapitola se věnuje současnému odkazu Karla Kryla a jeho politizaci a ukazuje zneužití jeho osobnosti napříč politickým spektrem. |

| Abstract: | This Bachelor`s thesis mainly focuses on personality and works of Czech artist KarelKryl and its goal is to find out whether or how his song lyrics had influence on our Czechoslovak society. In the first part, I introduce methodology used for this research, list resources and explain interpretation key that is used for analysing the lyrics. Further, the first part also covers the phenomenon of Czech folk genre in the period between 50s and 80s of the 20th century. The second part looks into the historical context of his work with detail on events of the Prague Spring, the Velvet Revolution and 90s in general. (The era of normalization is not included). The third part consists of analysis of the lyrics, in which he was addressing many issues during the communist era (for example the occupation, the beginning of Normalization and events of 90sin general) and the lyrics are discussed chronologically according to the interpretation key mentioned in the 1st chapter. In the last part I focus on KarelKryl`s legacy and his politicization and describe how his public figure was misused across our political spectrum. |
