| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá sestavováním Evropské komise po volbách do Evropského parlamentu 2014. V první kapitole je stručně popsán historický vývoj vztahu Evropské komise a Evropského parlamentu (a jejich předchůdců), co se týče sestavování Komise. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje změny ve volbě předsedy Evropské komise a jejich dopad na průběh voleb do Evropského parlamentu 2014. Třetí kapitola se zabývá slyšeními problematických kandidátů na komisaře v Evropském parlamentu, charakteristikou komisařů, rozdělením portfolií a konečným schválením Junckerovy komise. Cílem práce je posoudit vztah výsledku voleb do Evropského parlamentu a sestavování Evropské komise na příkladu voleb 2014. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis focuses on formation of the European Commission after the elections to the European Parliament in 2014. In the first chapter there is a brief historical overview of the European Commission's and Parliament's relationship development (and their predecessors) as far as the formation of the Commission is concerned. The second chapter characterises changes in the appointment of the European Commission's President and their impact on the election process in 2014. Third chapter examines hearings of problematic commissioners designate in the European Parliament, portfolios allocation and final vote on the Juncker's Commission. The aim of this work is to assess the relationship between the elections results and European Commission's formation in 2014. |
