Abstract: | Thesis analyses the advantages of the Irish pension system for the four model groups and it is also observed in the financial performance of the system and its long-term sustainability. Thanks to methods of analysis and literature review, whereupon I conclude that the Irish pension system is in some aspects an interesting pattern for Czech pension reform. In particular it is overall functioning of incentives and support for people to save money for their retirement themselves and not rely solely on the state, which is provided in the form of tax incentives and relatively low level of state pension. Furthermore, it is analysed the cost and long-term sustainability, which proved that it is at the expense of low replacements rates particularly for higher income groups. The main outcome of my work is to evaluate the impact on individual, where it appears that the Irish pension system is very solidary. |
