| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem evropského integračního procesu za vlády Margaret Thatcherové v letech 1979-1990. Analyzuje jednání evropských politických orgánů v otázkách budování Evropských společenství se zaměřením na vliv Margaret Thatcherové na jejich průběh. Zaobírá se obdobím před nástupem Thatcherové do funkce, kdy došlo k zásadním událostem ukazujícím na komplikovanost vztahů Evropy s Velkou Británií. Analyzuje jedenáctileté období vlády premiérky z pohledu jejích klíčových rozhodnutí v oblasti evropské politiky. Věnuje se zejména jednání o britském příspěvku, Jednotném evropském aktu a měnové unii. Komparuje fakta a ukazuje na zásadní změnu postoje Margaret Thatcherové k evropské integraci, od její podpory až ke skepticismu a snaze o jeho rozšiřování v politických kruzích. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with European integration process during the era under Margaret Thatcher 1979-1990. It analysis negotiations of European political authorities on the topic of building the European Communities focused on the influence of Margaret Thatcher on its course. It deals with the period before Mrs. Thatcher when did happen fundamental events showing the complicated relationships between Europe and Great Britain. It analyses eleven years under Mrs. Thatcher, focusing on her fundamental decisions on European politics. It deals with negotiations of British budgetary contributions, Single European Act and monetary union. It compares facts and shows the essential change of attitude towards European integration process from its support to the scepticism and attempt to expand it amongst other politicians. |
