| Abstract: | Ženy mají v Japonsku pozici matek a manželek pečujících o výchovu dětí a podporujících své těžce pracující muže. Tento ideál se však neslučuje s demografickým a ekonomickým vývojem, který ukazuje na potřebu žen v ekonomice. Tato práce si klade za cíl popsat a zhodnotit situaci žen na japonském trhu práce na počátku 21. století a určit vlivy, které k ní vedly. První kapitola se zaměřuje na vliv náboženství a filozofických směrů a na změny, které se udály převážně během 20. století, vytvoření typického způsobu zaměstnávání založeného na tzv. třech pokladech a rozdělení zaměstnanců do dvou kariérních drah. Druhá kapitola se zaměřuje na popis aktuální situace a pozice pracující ženy a dualismus trhu práce. Do třetí kapitoly jsou zahrnuta opatření týkající se žen, kterými se snaží stát dosáhnout rovnosti mezi pohlavími, a řešení situace doporučovaná mezinárodními organizacemi a experty. |

| Abstract: | Women in Japan hold the position of mothers and wives who take care of their children and support their hard-working husbands. However, this ideal is not compatible with the demographic and economic development which shows the need of women in the economy. The purpose of this thesis is to describe and evaluate the situation of women in the Japanese labour market at the beginning of the 21st century and determine the influences which led to it. The first chapter focuses on the influence of religion and philosophy and the changes which occurred mostly during the 20th century, the formation of the typical way of employment based on the so-called three jewels and dividing the employees into two career tracks. The second chapter concentrates on the description of the current situation and the position of a working woman and the labour market dualism. The third chapter includes measures through which the government is trying to achieve gender equality and solutions suggested by international organisations and experts. |
