| Abstract: | Tato práce pojednává o teoretických aspektech udržitelného rozvoje a praktickém uplatnění tohoto přístupu v České republice a Evropské unii. V teoretické části je představena historie trvale udržitelného rozvoje, jeho principy, pilíře a indikátory. Dále tato práce pojednává o vyváženém rozvoji, jakožto o velmi blízké koncepci rozvoje udržitelného. V poslední části se nachází rozbor praktického přístupu k trvale udržitelnému rozvoji v České republice a Evropské unii a jejich strategie. |

| Abstract: | This work discusses theoretical aspects of sustainable development and practical use of this concept in the Czech Republic and the European Union. In the theoretical part is presented history of the sustainable development, its principles, pillars and indicators. The next part discusses balanced development, which is a very close concept to the sustainable development. In the last part is situated an analysis of practical approach to sustainable development in the Czech Republic and the European Union and their strategies. |
