| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá hnutím fair trade a jeho postavením v mezinárodním obchodě. Cílem je tento alternativní způsob obchodování představit a zároveň posoudit jeho vhodnost jako formy rozvojové pomoci. Zhodnocení je provedeno na příkladu kakaového trhu,který je v současné době ohrožován negativními faktory, které vedou k odlivu pracovní síly. První kapitola představuje fair trade a jeho vývoj. Stručně jsou také nastíněny hlavní body kritiky tohoto hnutí. Druhá kapitola se zabývá obecnou charakteristikou kakaovníku a historií jeho pěstování. Věnuje se objemu světové produkce, spotřeby, mezinárodnímu obchodu, vývoji světové ceny a nakonec postavení kakaa ve fair trade. Třetí kapitola srovnává Ghanu a Indonésii z ekonomického hlediska a pozornost je věnována významu kakaa pro obě tyto ekonomiky a zapojení Ghany do fair trade. |

| Abstract: | This bachelor thesis deals with the fair trade movement and its position in the international trade. It aims to introduce this alternative way of trading and also to assess its suitability as a form of development aid. The evaluation is based on the example of cocoa market. This market is currently affected by a lot of negative factors, which lead to the outflow of labor force. The first chapter is designed to introduce the fair trade movement and its development. There are also briefly outlined the main points of its criticism. The second chapter is dedicated to the general characteristic of the cocoa tree and the history of its growing. It presents the quantity of production and consumption, the international trade, the development of cocoa price and also its positon in fair trade. The last chapter compares Ghana and Indonesia from the economic point of view and the attention is considered to importance of cocoa in both economies and Ghana's involvement in fair trade. |
